How to install new cabinet hardware

Replacing pulls and knobs

When replacing cabinet pulls, the first thing you will need to do is measure the center to center of your current pulls.

  • Measure from the center of the first screw to the center of the next screw and this will give you your center to center measurement needed to purchase new pulls!

Once you have that measurement, you can search for hardware with that center to center in our Pulls section.

If you are replacing knobs, all you need to do is find a style you like!

Installation

When you have decided where you want your hardware placed, use a ruler or cabinet hardware template to mark the drilling locations. You want to make sure the placements are the same across all cabinets for a consistent look. Once you have all the locations marked, you are ready to use your 3/16” drill bit and drill the holes. Next just screw in your new pulls and you are done!
